ANDERSON, Texas (KBTX) - Grimes County leaders are set to review a major economic development proposal Thursday that could bring a new manufacturing facility to the area, and potentially ignite a highly anticipated industrial supply chain cluster.
During a special meeting, the Grimes County Commissioners Court will convene in a closed executive session to discuss proprietary commercial and financial information from EVAPCO Inc. The Maryland-based corporation is proposing the construction and operation of a $60 million manufacturing facility specializing in heavy-duty heat-transfer and thermal-management cooling systems.
The proposed site is located on three parcels inside the Navasota Industrial Park.
