DENTON, Texas (KXII) - A Denton man accused of beheading his mother in 2019 was found not guilty by reason of insanity, according to court records.

A judge ruled that Isaac Warriner, 30, couldn't understand that the killing was illegal at the time because of mental illness.

In 2019 Warriner was arrested in Love County after the murder following a pursuit and crash on I-35.
