A married couple drowned on Halloween while floating on the lower Salt River in an inflatable kayak.

Arizona authorities said they were called to the river Saturday afternoon for reports of a man yelling that his wife couldn't swim as the two floated downstream.

According to investigators, both the man and woman went missing underwater.
