TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The Tyler City Council approved a 7. 83-acre property off East Commerce Street for a Tyler Police Department training facility during a meeting Wednesday at City Hall.

The property is located across from the existing Tyler PD facility.

The approval allows the department to train more people and includes a driving area where officers can use tracks for training.
