HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A heavy truck fire delayed drivers on the westbound Katy Freeway before Beltway 8 on Sunday afternoon, according to Houston TranStar.

Traffic cameras showed the smoke billowing from the truck as drivers were corralled into the leftmost lane.

Houston TranStar's website confirmed the three rightmost lanes were closed, and cameras showed motorists on the Katy Tollway were largely unaffected by the incident.
