PECOS, Texas (KOSA) - A cut flow line near the bank of the Pecos River near Grandfalls caused contamination in the riverbed late last week, according to State Rep. Brooks Landgraf.

Landgraf said in a Facebook post that local officials and nearby landowners alerted him to the situation.

He said he reported the problem to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Texas Railroad Commission (RRC), which he said has jurisdiction in cases such as this.
