TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Texas man is sharing his personal journey with diabetes and severe medical complications in hopes of raising awareness about the condition and encouraging others to manage their health.

Cody Woodruff was born with juvenile diabetes, which later developed into Type 1 diabetes.

Woodruff said he was not formally diagnosed until he was 10 or 11 years old.
