HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities in southeast Houston are working the scene of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle, according to police.

The Houston Police Department said officers responded at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday to the 7300 block of Moline Street and Telephone Road after reports of an auto-pedestrian incident.

HPD confirmed the scene does involve a fatality, but additional details were not immediately disclosed.
