DENISON, Texas (KXII) - Summer heat, dry grass and drought conditions across Texoma mean a daily drive could turn dangerous in seconds, according to fire officials."Seconds... it ignites and there you go, you got a fire and it will spread rapidly," said Landon Lindsey, Denison deputy fire marshal.

Denison crews respond to an average of two wildfires every day, and one of the biggest culprits comes when drivers turn on the ignition and hit the road.
