WACO, Texas (KWTX) - I'm gonna keep it one-scundo with you guys and tell you that when I heard publisher Square Enix was repurposing one of its mobile Final Fantasy games into a full-blooded single player RPG, I was extremely not interested.

But I'll be the first to admit when I'm wrong, so let me say that Final Fantasy Resonance is not only a great repurposing of assets into something new, but also an incredible entry into the storied franchise.

It's a dangerous game calling comparisons of the OG Final Fantasy games up with this art style and gameplay loop, but Resonance has really landed the airship here.
