Summer is almost over, and before heading back to school, area residents are invited to visit Bethany's Outreach and Advocacy Team (BOAT) Basic Car Care Clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bethany Lutheran Church parking lot behind the church at 110 W. Austin St. Car-GO! is a free service open to the public and is held every three months as part of BOAT's outreach ministry to provide practical assistance to the community.

Participants are asked to enter from Adams Street.

"Car-GO! helps underscore the real need we're serving now that annual state inspections are no longer required and full-service stations are so rare," said Dana Rowan, a BOAT member and volunteer at the clinic.
