SABINE COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A person has been airlifted to a hospital following a house fire in the Fairmont area of Sabine County Tuesday.

According to a press release from the Sabine County Sheriff's Office, the office was contacted sometime Tuesday morning about a house fire in the Fairmont area where explosions had been reported.

One resident suffered second and third-degree burns as a result of the fire and was airlifted to Galveston for treatment, the release said.
