SAN MARCOS, Texas - San Marcos fire officials are asking for the public's help after releasing newly surfaced surveillance video tied to the 2018 Iconic Village apartment fire that killed five people and injured seven others.
The San Marcos Fire Department shared the footage during a news conference Friday morning, saying investigators hope it will generate new leads in the homicide investigation.
The video was recorded July 20, 2018, between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m., around the time of the fire.
