One person died and another was injured Monday night in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Ranch Road 1323, according to the Gillespie County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were dispatched at approximately 9:35 p.m. July 27 to the 2700 block of Ranch Road 1323 following reports of a single-vehicle crash.

According to the sheriff's office, the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed and failed to slow for the curve at Ranch Road 1323 and Willow City Loop.
