Diego Castillo, a newly-certified registered nurse anesthetist, will begin working for Uvalde Memorial Hospital in September.

The Uvalde High School alumnus graduated on Aug. 15 from Texas Wesleyan in Fort Worth with a Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice, concluding six years of schooling.

Castillo graduated from UHS in 2017.
