An American Airlines flight landed safely at DFW Airport Friday evening after smoke was reported from a passenger's device during landing, the airline said.

What we know: Flight 2398, coming from Atlanta to DFW, was able to taxi to the gate under its own power where it was met by emergency crews.

One person was treated at the scene and was released.
