Principal Jonathan Campbell stood at the entrance of Long Creek High School early Monday morning, high-fiving each student as they entered the school for the start of the 2026-2027 school year.

He greeted incoming freshmen, sophomores, juniors and, for the first time, seniors, as LCHS begins its first year as a comprehensive high school.

LCHS opened in 2024 and started with just freshmen and sophomores, adding one more grade for the 2025-2026 school year before officially becoming a comprehensive high school this school year.
