(WTVA/Gray News) - Friends and classmates are mourning the death of a 19-year-old football player who was killed in a crash early Sunday.

According to the Tupelo Police Department, officers responded to a single-vehicle crash a little after 1 a.m. Sunday.

The Lee County Coroner's Office said Alden Wade was driving a truck when it hit a light pole.
