ICE releases witness in fatal Lorenzo Salgado Araujo shooting after federal judge's order

A federal judge ordered ICE to release José Trinidad Rojas Pliego, a witness to the July 7 shooting death of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo by ICE agents in Magnolia Park.

Jos Trinidad Rojas Pliego has been released from the Montgomery Processing Center at an undisclosed location, according to his family's attorney.

Rojas Pliego was inside a van in Magnolia Park when ICE agents shot and killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo on July 7.

A federal judge gave ICE 48 hours to release him on Tuesday.
