TYLER, Texas (KETK) -- The East Texas State Fair announced on Thursday that it will delay opening until 6 p.m. due to the rain.

"The safety of our guests, volunteers, vendors, and staff remains our priority. We appreciate the community's understanding as weather affects this year's Fair," the East Texas State Fair said.
