POLK COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A Polk County woman was hospitalized over the weekend after authorities said she was attacked by four dogs while walking.

According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the attack happened during the evening of Oct. 11.

Authorities said the 35-year-old woman was walking along the road in the Quailcrest Drive area when she was approached by four pit bull-type dogs.
