LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine welcomed its incoming 182-member class of 2030 during its annual white coat ceremony Friday at Buddy Holly Hall.

Members of the TTUHSC academic medical community helped students put on their first white coats, symbolizing their entry into the medical profession.

John DeToledo, dean of the TTUHSC School of Medicine, said the event marked a milestone for incoming students."This, for us, is a great celebration," DeToledo said.
