The Boerne Little League team, or Texas West, just won the Southwest Region Tournament by defeating Louisiana, 4-1, Monday in Waco.

Boerne advances to the Little League World Series for the second time in three years after the 2024 team also made it and finished second in the nation and fourth internationally.

This year's LLWS begins Aug. 19 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
