President Donald Trump is promising a series of cash payments to voters as Republicans seek to maintain control of the House and Senate in the midterm elections.

At the RNC midterm convention in September, Trump pledged to send $5,000 to every American adult if the GOP retains control of Congress."Because of our tremendous strength and success economically, I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000," Trump said Sept. 9.

Since the Dallas convention, Trump has continued to make additional promises.
