BELLMEAD, Texas (KWTX) - Two women were arrested early Tuesday after a traffic stop in Bellmead led to the seizure of what deputies believe was methamphetamine packaged for distribution, according to an arrest affidavit.
A McLennan County Sheriff's Office deputy wrote that around 12:43 a.m. July 28, he stopped a white Chevrolet pickup after noticing a defective third brake light as it turned onto Williams Road from Loop 340. The driver of the truck pulled over in the 4100 block of Williams Road.
The driver was identified as Rhonda Gatlin, 64, and the passenger as Dezaray Andrade, 41, the affidavit states.
