MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Parents living in the Vander Ranch community say Greenwood Elementary and Intermediate schools are found next door to their neighborhood, yet their children are not allowed to walk to school.
The reason: no sidewalk exists along the road connecting the two.
With walking ruled out, driving is the only option - and parents say that short trip can turn into a long commute.
