Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones weighed in on two pressing issues facing San Antonio: how the city should regulate the growing number of data centers moving into the area, and how officials plan to close a significant two-year budget gap without raising property taxes.

On data centers, Jones said she is not yet fully on board with a moratorium supported by some council members.

She wants to instead wait for staff recommendations on zoning changes and other requirements.
