GRIMES COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) - KBTX has confirmed with the Texas Comptroller's office that Governor Greg Abbott and both Grimes County school districts have submitted positive determinations on SpaceX's proposed Terafab JETI tax agreements, clearing a major hurdle for what could become the largest industrial project in Texas history.

Official verification letters have not yet been posted to the Comptroller's website, but KBTX confirmed the determinations have been submitted to the Texas Comptroller's Office.

On July 14, both Anderson-Shiro CISD and Iola ISD voted 5-2 to approve all eight JETI tax incentive agreements tied to SpaceX's proposed Terafab semiconductor manufacturing facility near Gibbons Creek Reservoir.
