A man was shot multiple times Sunday night in what he told police was a drive-by shooting outside a Houston apartment complex.

Houston Police Department officers responded at approximately 9:20 p.m. to 220 North Point Drive, where they found a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso in front of the complex.

Officers rendered aid at the scene before Houston Fire Department personnel transported the man to an area hospital in critical condition.
