The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced a recall of more than 12,000 dressers over the furniture posing tip-over and entrapment hazards that could result in serious injuries or death to children.
Big picture view: The recall, announced Oct. 8, 2026, included about 12,078 Romorgniz six-drawer dressers after the products were found to be unstable if they were not anchored to a wall.
According to the CPSC, the dressers violated mandatory furniture safety standards established under the STURDY Act.
