(KMOV/Gray News) - A Missouri high school student died Tuesday after suffering an accidental injury at school last week.

The injury happened at University City High School near St. Louis.

School district officials said a student was accidentally injured with a pair of scissors at the district's high school on Oct. 5, which prompted a lockdown.
