New York Times picks two San Antonio spots among nation's best Mexican restaurants

The New York Times named two San Antonio-area Mexican restaurants, Garcia's Mexican Food and Burnt Bean Co., among the nation's 41 best Mexican restaurants.

Credit: Facebook / Garcia's Mexican Food The New York Times placed two San Antonio-area eateries - Beacon Hill hole-in-the-wall Garcia's Mexican Food and Seguin barbecue spot Burnt Bean Co. - on its list of the nation's 41 best Mexican restaurants.

The Times' writers praised Garcia's for its affordable prices, homey vibe and brisket tacos.
