The City of Fredericksburg Electric Department was recently recognized at the Texas Public Power Association's annual conference held in Austin in July.

As part of the event, TPPA held an awards program recognizing organizations and individuals for their contributions to their communities, public power and TPPA.

The Electric Department received the System Achievement Award, which highlights TPPA member organizations for their outstanding work in the field.
