Orla Road, also known as County Road 1, remains closed Tuesday as officials and Chevron continue to investigate a loss-of-containment incident at a well site about one mile north of Cotton Draw.

Chevron said protecting people and the environment is its highest priority.

The company is coordinating with appropriate authorities to assess and address the situation.
