Could reopen after restroom pump fixed Boerne City Lake is scheduled to reopen Saturday, just over two weeks after historic flooding sent the lake to a record depth.

The opening comes after repairs were made to a restroom septic pump damaged by the July flooding, officials said.

Work crews await the arrival of specific equipment to restore the septic service to the park's restrooms, city spokesman Chris Shadrock said, "We're working to get the park open," he said Wednesday.
