Taylor Lady Ducks snapped their threegame streak after falling to Manor New Tech on the road in straight sets Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Taylor went into the matchup looking to defend its number one rank in district and repeat last meeting's 3-0 outcome over the Lady Titans from 2023. New Tech wasted no time establishing themselves, taking the first set 25-20. Lady Titan senior outside hitter Yasmine Rahab picked up a season high 17 kills, five aces and six digs.

The Lady Ducks improved their defense in the second, but it was not enough to topple the Lady Titans, losing 25-21.
