WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A former CareFlite flight paramedic who responded to the 1993 Branch Davidian raid is releasing a memoir later this month detailing his firsthand experience and his years-long struggle with PTSD.

Larry Johnson, the senior flight paramedic for CareFlite Dallas at the time, was dispatched to the Mount Carmel compound on Feb. 28, 1993, the day ATF agents raided the Branch Davidian compound just outside of Waco.

The raid and standoffFour ATF agents were killed and 16 were wounded in the raid.
