Kerrville City Council members on Tuesday, Oct. 27, will consider reversing course on eminent domain proceedings to acquire Tivy Mountain, citing damage from 2026 floods.

The council first approved a bill that enabled the eminent domain action in December 2025.

The July 16 flood prompted officials to reconsider the acquisition due to extensive storm damage.
