Cy-Fair Fire Chief Amy Ramon has been named the International Association of Fire Chiefs' 2026 Fire Chief of the Year.

Ramon received the honor Aug. 12 during Fire-Rescue International in Kansas City, Missouri.

The award recognizes one career chief and one volunteer chief nationwide for leadership, innovation, integrity and contributions to the fire service.
