According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, near East Cottonwood Road and Lariat Trail.

DPS said a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro driven by Austin Xavier Berjarano, 22, of Midland, was traveling west in the inside lane of East Cottonwood Road.
