JASPER COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - The Texas Department of Public Safety released the identity of a Pineland man killed in a collision in Jasper County.

Bradley Stoddard, 37, died in the two-vehicle wreck that occurred around 11:24 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 96 in Brookeland, according to DPS.

A preliminary crash investigation revealed that Stoddard's motorcycle was traveling northbound when the driver of a Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck failed to yield while exiting a parking lot, causing Stoddard's motorcycle to strike the side of the truck, according to DPS.
