TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The Tyler City Council approved nearly $165,000 to build a new 2,440-square-foot outdoor deck at the Mayfair Building.

The deck has been part of the city's plans since 2017.

The project is funded through hotel and motel tax dollars, not property taxes.
