LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Five years ago Sergeant Joshua Bartlett was killed in the line of duty during a SWAT standoff in Levelland.

"Deputies who had the honor of working with him remember him fondly," the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office said.

"Sgt. Bartlett was a U.S. Army veteran and served as the Commander of Lubbock County's Regional SWAT team." Five other officers were injured in the hours-long standoff.
