DPS hosting dedication ceremony for trooper killed in 2024 Ector County crash

Texas DPS is holding a dedication ceremony Thursday at 10 a.m. in Lubbock to honor Trooper Kevin Ramirez Vasquez, who was killed in the line of duty in an Ector County crash in September 2024.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Texas DPS is honoring the life and service of Trooper Kevin Ramirez Vasquez with the dedication of a granite monument in his memory.

It will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Texas Department of Public Safety at 2405 S. Loop 250 W. Everyone is welcome.

Trooper Ramirez-Vasquez was killed in the line of duty in September 2024.
