Houston police are investigating after a body was dumped from a vehicle into the parking lot of a Southwest Houston apartment complex Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened around 3:23 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 5700 block of Rampart Street, according to the Houston Police Department.

A witness called 911 to report the incident.
