FALLS COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - A man is in custody following a shooting and a long standoff at a residence along FM Road 147, according to the Falls County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday to a home in the 300 block of FM 147 after receiving a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel located one person with gunshot injuries.
