The Early Longhorns have yet to experience defeat during the 2026 high school football season, and will attempt to continue that trend against their toughest foe through the first four games - the Hawley Bearcats.

Kickoff between the Longhorns (3-0) and the Class 2A Division I Bearcats (2-1) is slated for 7 p.m. Friday in Hawley.

Last week, Early notched a 34-0 homecoming victory over the previously undefeated Ballinger Bearcats in perhaps their most complete performance of the young season.
