HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was rushed to the hospital on Saturday morning after suffering a gunshot wound and boarding a METRORail train, according to police.

The METRO Police Department said that a man who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg boarded the northbound Red Line train.

Police said he then exited the train at the Cavalcade Station, where emergency personnel responded.
