FAIRFIELD, Texas (KWTX) - The Fairfield Police Department said in a statement that it arrested two individuals during a joint law enforcement response with the Freestone Sheriff's Office.

Both agencies responded to a gunfire call in the area of County Road 606 in Fairfield, Texas, on Nov. 6.

Upon arrival, responding officers saw multiple rounds being fired and "visible muzzle flashes coming from the area," the statement reads.
