Abused turtle found tethered, submerged inside cage in New York park lake

Park Rangers on Long Island found an abused turtle at a park in Suffolk County.

The turtle was found tethered and submerged inside a cage at Geiger Park Lake in Deer Park last Sunday.

The turtle also had a fish hook in its mouth and the cage was secured with zip ties.
